Years 7 and 8
This Lower School Craft Club is a relaxed session which will allow pupils to develop their textile skills, and provide the opportunity to work on more complex techniques.

Years 12 and 13 

The Textiles department runs after-school workshops for all A-Level Textiles students to develop their evolving work, have one-to-one tutorials and complete their study. 

We are delighted to be introducing GCSE Textiles through the ECA programme for the first time. This is aimed at Year 9 pupils who will follow the course during 1 x A2 and 1 x A1 session per week, with the opportunity to take the GCSE at the end of Year 10. There will be a focus on sustainability, with pupils developing skills such as embroidery, patchwork, weaving, mending, fabric manipulation, zero waste pattern making and natural dyeing. They will also advance their research, exploration and presentation skills. There is a maximum of 6 spaces.

Pupils will learn couture beading, embroidery and construction techniques from our specialist staff, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the restoration and development of our iconic Live Crib costumes.
