‘The Addams Family - School Edition' Takes Trinity Theatre by Storm

Last week, the stage at Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells was transformed into the quirky and captivating world of "The Addams Family - School Edition," thanks to the exceptional efforts of Mayfield's talented cast and crew. In a performance that left audiences spellbound, the girls showcased their dedication and skill, delivering a superb production that will be remembered for years to come.

From the outset, it was evident that this was no ordinary production. The cast and crew embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, making full use of Trinity Theatre's professional lighting and sound facilities to create an immersive experience for theatregoers. The result was a seamless blend of technical prowess and artistic flair that brought the Addams Family's eerie charm to life on stage.

Central to the success of the production was the remarkable work of Samantha Santo, who lent her expertise to designing and sourcing the costumes and props. The choreography, masterfully crafted by Alice in Year 12, added another layer of depth and excitement to the performance. From the inspired zombie routines to the eye-catching tango choreographed by Mrs Demetriou, the dance sequences were a highlight of the evening, captivating audiences and adding to the overall spectacle.

Behind the scenes, Maddie in Year 12 proved to be a sensational deputy stage manager, flawlessly coordinating scenery changes and technical cues to ensure that the show ran smoothly. Meanwhile, sound management, expertly handled by Miss Clark, set the perfect tone for each scene, while the live orchestra, led by Mr Partington and Mrs Le Riche on reeds, provided a seamless accompaniment to the actors on stage.
