Trinity Theatre is Alive with The Sound of Music!

Last week, students from Years 7-13 took to the stage for four incredible performances of The Sound of Music at Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells. This whole-school musical was a true showcase of talent, dedication, and teamwork, captivating audiences with its powerful storytelling and stunning production.

This year’s performance was particularly special as students were involved in every aspect of the show, both on and off the stage. Alongside the talented cast, musicians from the school played in the orchestra, and students took on vital technical roles, managing lighting, sound, stage direction, hair, and make-up. Their hard work and commitment brought the classic musical to life, creating an unforgettable experience for both performers and audience members alike.

Despite the challenges of illness sweeping through the cast and orchestra during the week, the students showed incredible perseverance and professionalism, ensuring that every performance remained a triumph. Their dedication paid off, with the final show on Saturday night selling out and receiving a rapturous response from the audience.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the production—students, staff, families, and friends. This musical was a true celebration of collaboration, creativity, and resilience, and we could not be prouder of everyone involved.
